Intoducing: Robert W. Wood D.Hp: the Author 

Robert W. Wood D.Hp, a commited Christian, has discovered a very interesting gift.  He can take 'church' language and change it to 'new age'.  Years ago when Microsoft and Apple Mac couldn't communicate directly with each other, a language called Java was invented, this could speak easily to both: so Robert speaks a kind of Java.

He was confirmed into the Church of England at the age of 38.  Never having had any kind of doctrination into any kind of religion up to this point, he was truly a 'blank sheet of paper'.

Whilst sitting in the church in 1988, he was told - through his mind - that when the service ended he should not move, because something was about to happen.  What Robert did not know was, just how far-reaching this something was going to be.

He had gone from being Managing Director of a very successful building company, with all the trappings of wealth, to the depths of bankruptcy including losing his house; and he was now to go on to public speaking and writing on the mysteries surrounding gemstones and crystals.

That day, in church, he met a man who was about to become a very special friend to him.  This man, a fellow Christian, was the owner of the largest wholesalers in the UK selling fossils, minerals and semi-precious gemstones.  Although Robert did not realise it at the time, it was his nexus.

Within his mind he experienced a strong feeling of being awakened as he was given more details of his life's mission, to de-mystify the Mysteries.  Taking as his starting point the idea, "Why try to predict the future, when you are the one who can change it?" he came to make it his quest "to show the unity that lies beyondall our differences".

For the last fourteen years he has been giving talks and displays on the mysteries surrounding gemstones and crystals, including demonstrations on crystal healing.

Quite unique, don't you think: a commited Christian talking 'new age', and the same person also a qualified hypnotherapist.  This unique personal combination has brought about a book called "Discover Why Crystal Healing Works" - an emotive title, but if you heard Robert giive one of his talks, you would realise just how electrifying his presentation is.
